Overview

Spearheaded by Fiona Sexton, as a result of her winning funding at the ‘Vodafone World of Difference Competition’, this online Volunteer Toolkit was developed on behalf of Volunteer Centres Ireland (VCI). Launched by Minister Pat Carey, the site promotes volunteering as a valuable role for a highly educated, willing and skilled Irish volunteer pool.

VCI is the national organisation with responsibility for development of volunteering nationally and locally, comprising of 22 local Volunteer Centres that exist to improve the extent, range and quality of volunteering.

This site provides all of the tools necessary to better recruit, manage, organise and utilise these volunteers including sample documents for download, video profiles and case studies.
