Established in 2006, Equipet is a 100% Irish owned business with 6 bricks-and-mortar super-stores and their online store. Equipet continues to grow by changing to meet customers’ needs and delivering expert knowledge and advice through well qualified and enthusiastic staff. Equipet also incorporates The Groom Room, a dog grooming service, in all of their pet stores, where professional groomers wash, clip and style all sizes and breeds of dog. The provide products and services from cats, dogs, small animals, aquatics, birds, reptiles and equine for both horse and rider.
Offering such a vast range and quantity of product for sale online can be problematic. We assisted Equipet in structuring their product categories and sub-categories to make it as user-friendly as possible, and also introduced an intelligent search facility that provides predictive search and auto-spell functionality. This ensures that users can find what they’re looking for, fast!
The site is built using Magento 2, the most user-focused eCommerce CMS available, with multi-site management and endless promotional facilities available.
The site now also incorporates a separate Equine section targeted specifically to show jumpers, eventers, dressage and cross country riders amongst others.
