Overview

Ella House is a unique workplace destination located on Merrion Square in Dublin city centre. Comprising five interconnected Georgian buildings and landscaped gardens, the development has undergone a significant transformation to create a high-end, flexible working environment.

It is now transformed into a space that combines heritage, design and modern infrastructure, offering premium office facilities, flexible leasing options and a strong sense of place in one of Dublin’s most prestigious locations.

The Brief

Ella House was conceived as a best-in-class workspace offering, but required a digital presence that would reflect the same level of quality and ambition. The website needed to do more than simply present information, it also had to:

  • communicate the uniqueness of the development
  • appeal to a diverse but discerning audience
  • position Ella House as a premium yet accessible offering
  • generate enquiries from high-quality prospective tenants

The audience included:

  • commercial agents sourcing office space for clients
  • companies prioritising employee wellbeing and environment
  • international businesses entering the Irish market
  • design-conscious organisations seeking inspiring workplaces
  • individuals and teams drawn to city-centre, heritage locations

The challenge brought to us by our partner, Dardis+Dog, was to create a digital experience that would resonate with all of these audiences while maintaining a clear and focused message.

The Process

We approached the project as a combination of brand storytelling, digital strategy and lead generation. From the outset, it was clear that simplicity and visual impact would be key. The website needed to rely on strong, high-quality imagery, concise, carefully structured messaging and a clean and intuitive user experience. Our goal was to create a digital platform that reflected the physical space — elegant, refined and thoughtfully designed.

We began by defining how the development should be presented online. This involved initially identifying the key messages that differentiate Ella House, then structuring content to guide users from discovery to enquiry. We then aligned the website with the expectations of multiple audience types and ensured the platform supported lead generation from the outset. Rather than overwhelming users with information, we focused on clarity and flow — allowing the space itself to take centre stage.

The design approach was centred around showcasing the quality of the development, utilising large-format imagery to highlight the architecture and interiors, minimal, carefully considered text to support the visuals and a clean layout that allows content to breathe, with subtle interactions to enhance the user experience without distraction. The visual language was designed to convey premium quality, calm, considered design and a balance between heritage and modernity, aligning with the expectations of a high-end audience.

The website was developed as a streamlined, high-performance platform focused on presentation and lead generation. Given the nature of the project, a brochure-style approach was adopted — prioritising speed and performance, ease of navigation, clarity of information and strong calls to action. The platform was designed to support marketing activity and drive enquiries without unnecessary complexity.
