Proudly Made in Africa

Overview

The Proudly Made in AfricaTM logo represents the extension of fair trade, communicating to consumers that the product they have bought has made a difference to the community that produced, created, packaged and marketed it.

Value Added in Africa asked us to develop a site that reflected the quality of the support they were providing to these developing African companies through the PMIA mark and also to represent their clients' product ranges in a commercial and credible way.

Detail

We offered our services free of charge as we strongly believe in what they are doing as an organisation - encouraging sustainable development within Africa to ensure that they are benefitting both socially and economically from their commercial endeavors.

The site combines a sense of a continent steeped in traditional methods with an emerging economic progress that is beginning to make waves internationally.

The website had several functions - educational, commercial and social - and also several target markets including companies looking for overseas stockists, stockists sourcing quality products and the general public looking for alternatives to the usual brands.

The site showcases all that is good about African developmental support and positively conveys the success of this programme to date.

"We could not believe when Cameron and his team at Framework Design offered to provide their expertise to create a new website for us on a pro-bono basis. We have been very impressed by their finesse and commitment to our project. Notably, they not only provided the technical expertise but also gave significant input into our branding, working patiently with us and our brand consultant to transform our concepts into a coherent communications strategy. They are experts in every sense of the word. They not only provided the technical expertise but also gave significant input into our branding, working patiently with us and our brand consultant to transform our concepts into a coherent communications strategy."
