Freeney's Graphics

Showcasing craftsmanship and legacy through a modern digital platform

Overview

Freeney’s Graphics is a long-established Irish business rooted in a rich tradition of sign writing that spans six generations.

What began as a craft passed from father to son has evolved into a modern signage and digital printing company, combining traditional skills with contemporary production techniques.

Today, under the direction of Tom Freeney, the business delivers a wide range of services including signage, vehicle branding and large-scale graphics for clients across multiple industries.

The Brief

Freeney’s had built a strong reputation through the quality of their work and long-standing client relationships. However, their digital presence did not fully reflect this.

The website needed to achieve several things:

  • present a diverse portfolio in a clear and engaging way
  • demonstrate the scale and quality of their work
  • communicate the breadth of services offered
  • appeal to both local businesses and larger commercial clients

The challenge was to translate a highly visual, hands-on craft into a digital format that would resonate with potential customers.

The Process

We began by reviewing existing materials and identifying how best to organise the wide range of services and projects. Key steps included structuring services into clear, accessible categories, curating project examples to highlight variety and quality, designing layouts that prioritise imagery without losing context and refining messaging to communicate expertise without unnecessary detail

Given the visual nature of the business, careful attention was paid to how projects were presented — ensuring images were impactful while still supporting navigation and usability. We also worked closely with the Freeney’s team to ensure the tone of the site reflected both their heritage and their modern capabilities.

Design & Build

The design strikes a balance between tradition and modernity. It reflects the company’s roots in craftsmanship while presenting the business as a forward-looking provider of signage and graphic solutions. Key features include strong use of project imagery to showcase real-world work, clear service sections that help users find relevant information quickly, a straightforward navigation structure and a responsive build to ensure accessibility across devices. The platform was developed to be reliable, easy to maintain and capable of growing alongside the business.

The Result

The new website provides a much clearer and more compelling representation of Freeney’s Graphics.

  • A portfolio-led experience that highlights the quality of work
  • A clearer overview of services and capabilities
  • A stronger alignment between the brand’s heritage and its current offering
  • A platform designed to support new business enquiries
  • A digital presence that reflects the professionalism of the company

Results & Impact

The updated site strengthens how Freeney’s presents itself to potential clients.

  • Improved first impressions, particularly for new and larger clients
  • Greater visibility of project work, helping build trust and credibility
  • More effective communication of services, supporting a wider range of enquiries
  • A better balance between heritage and modern positioning
  • A platform that supports ongoing growth and marketing activity

Ultimately, the website captures what makes Freeney’s distinctive — a combination of experience, craftsmanship and adaptability — and presents it in a way that is clear, accessible and relevant to today’s market.

Testimonial

"Freeney’s Graphics have spent years considering creating a website that best conveys what we are passionate about. We researched the options and liked Framework’s portfolio of websites. When we met with Cameron it was clear that he was as passionate as we were, about achieving our goals.

We are delighted with the finished product and with Framework’s approach to giving us the knowledge and freedom of access to edit and update the site. Thank you for a job well done.”
