An Móinéar Buí for O'Malley Construction Company

Bringing a new residential development to market through a clear, buyer-focused digital experience for O'Malley Construction Company.

Overview

Bringing a new residential development to market through a clear, buyer-focused digital experience for O'Malley Construction Company.

This project involved the launch of a new residential development by O’Malley Construction Company, to be located in Claregalway — a well-established Gaeltacht village on the outskirts of Galway City.

The Brief

Launching a new development comes with a specific set of challenges. At the outset, there is no existing awareness, no established digital presence and limited information available to potential buyers. The website becomes the primary point of reference, often forming a buyer’s first impression.

Key objectives included introducing the development clearly and confidently to the market, presenting property information in a structured and accessible way, supporting prospective buyers in understanding layout, specification and availability, promoting Claregalway as an attractive place to live, and creating a platform that could evolve as the development progressed

The site needed to strike a balance between aspiration and clarity, generating interest while also providing practical information.

The Process

We approached the project from the perspective of the buyer journey. Rather than focusing solely on property listings, we considered how users move from initial interest to serious enquiry. This meant structuring the site to answer key questions quickly:

  • What is this development?
  • Where is it located?
  • What types of homes are available?
  • What is it like to live here?
  • How do I take the next step?

The project began with defining how the development should be positioned — both in terms of the properties themselves and the wider location. We developed a visual direction that reflects the quality and character of the homes, using a clean and modern aesthetic that aligns with expectations in the residential market. We also ensured that key actions — such as registering interest or making an enquiry — are clearly visible throughout the site.

The Result

The completed website provides a strong foundation for marketing the development, with a clear and engaging introduction to the project, well-structured property information for prospective buyers, a strong emphasis on location and lifestyle, and a digital presence that aligns with the quality of the development.

Results & Impact

The website plays a central role in how the development is presented to the market.

  • Improved buyer understanding, with clear access to key information
  • Strong impressions, supporting early-stage interest
  • Increased engagement, driven by a balance of visual appeal and usability
  • More effective enquiries, as users can easily take the next step
  • A scalable platform, capable of evolving as the development progresses

By combining property marketing with place-based storytelling, the site helps position the development not just as a set of homes, but as part of a wider lifestyle offering.
